Cuticell® Classic

is a sterile, non-medicated, low adherent dressing due to its paraffin coating – permeable to air and exudate. The open weave allows exudate to pass through into a sterile, absorbent secondary dressing.

Intended Purpose

Indications: Cuticell classic is used as a primary wound contact layer in the treatment of exuding wounds such as minor burns and scalds, donor and recipient skin graft sites, skin loss wounds, lacerations and abrasions, leg ulcers.

How to use

Image showing how to apply Cutimed® Cuticell® Classic
1. Prepare the wound and surrounding skin according to local clinical practice.
2. Remove Cuticell Classic from the peel pack and cut it to the size of the wound if necessary.
3. To absorb wound exudate, a sterile absorbent pad can be placed over Cuticell Classic.
4. For fixation, bandages or adhesive material can be used.
How to Remove
5. Carefully remove secondary dressing and gently remove Cuticell Classic from the wound and discard. If required, cleanse the wound prior to application of a new dressing.
